| Summary |
When a devastating attack leaves Mark Hogancamp with acute memory loss and posttraumatic stress disorder, no one expects him to recover. Unable to afford therapy, he creates Marwen, a miniature World War II–era Belgian town, populating it with dolls representing himself, his friends, and even his attackers. |
